Well, the Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc and Brazil have little in common. But not quite. The Ferrari driver may not have inspiring results in São Paulo – perhaps his best weekend was the first when he was seventh in Alfa Romeo – and he comes from a very different country. But he is one of the drivers who most enjoy visiting São Paulo Maybe, behind Lewis Hamilton, who is also a Brazilian now!
The reasons are several. Starting with the circuit. He says that since he was a child, when he played video games, he always chose Interlagos. Despite being born three years after Senna’s death, he also calls himself a super fan of our driver. It’s worth remembering that Senna still holds the record for most victories in Monaco today! In addition to all this, he says that Brazil’s fans are exceptional. Everyone around Leclerc says they are impressed by the joy with which he responds to everyone who asks for a photo or an autograph. I enjoy his driving skills, besides some weird Ferrari moves! I’m excited about the sprint on Saturday and the race on Sunday!
