Sampa, my beloved hometown! Anyone who says there’s no love here clearly hasn’t fallen for its charms. The city nurtures and energizes you, buzzing with inspiration and activity. Keeping up with its relentless pace and managing its myriad demands can be daunting. I truly believe that a place of such scale inevitably evokes both love and frustration. Despite the chaos of rush hours, deadlines, pollution, and endless concerns, it remains alive with dreams and aspirations.

This vibrant, cosmopolitan metropolis is renowned for its rich cultural diversity, home to significant Arab, Italian, and Japanese communities, evident in neighbourhoods like Bexiga, Bom Retiro, and Liberdade. By 2016, its residents represented over 200 countries, making it impossible to grow up here without encountering descendants from these backgrounds. It is a complex melting pot, sometimes hard to grasp but equally impossible to live without. What truly sets this city apart is its ability to inspire dreams, making it one of the few places in the world where many can see their aspirations realized.
