Oh, let’s be fair here—George got all the headlines, initially winning the race in spectacular fashion before becoming the first driver in 30 years to be disqualified from a race win. But make no mistake—Lewis’s drive at Spa was masterful. He managed every single lap! Of course, George taking control of the strategy from the cockpit, overruling his team, and staying out to cross the finish line first was pretty cool as well. It was a spectacular mind-set, something he has done many times before, taking control of the situation. Mercedes is now investigating why their car was significantly underweight, costing them a potential one-two finish. This isn’t the first recent issue for the team: George was eliminated in Q1 in Hungary due to insufficient fuel, and Hamilton was disqualified from P2 in Austin last year for excessive plank wear. Well, sometimes I have a feeling that Ferrari is not the only one with some weird strategies!
