All right, who else is cheering for Max and his quest for a fifth world championship? I’m all in.
Dominant, untouchable, and grinning in the Texas sunshine, it was all Super Max, super power.
He claimed another victory at the United States Grand Prix, breathing new life into his championship hopes after a season that at times left him on the margins. He now trails Oscar Piastri by forty points and Lando Norris by twenty-six, keeping his bid for a fifth title alive as the season enters its final five races. He led from start to finish. It is a dominance so elevated that the television cameras scarcely linger on him and that stunning Red Bull car. Sorry, but it is by far the most beautiful machine on the grid.
Meanwhile, Norris fought to second after losing early ground to Charles Leclerc. Piastri’s fifth-place finish, coupled with Norris closing to within fourteen points, has drawn the field tighter and set the stage for a compelling conclusion. With his car performing strongly and his experience quietly grounding him amid younger rivals, Verstappen stands once more as a genuine contender in what is becoming a deeply human, fiercely contested championship story.
I know, I know. Lately I’ve been writing only about Max in the F1 spot here on my blog. But can you blame me?
