Save the Date: February 14, 2024

Mercedes is ready to make an impactful revelation on the Formula 1 scene with the launch of its car for the 2024 season, the long-awaited W15. Setting the date of February 14th, Valentine’s Day, the German team seeks to bring a revolution to the F1 paddock, one day after confirming the reveal of Ferrari’s new car.

Expectations surrounding the W15 are high, especially after Toto Wolff, team boss, publicly admitted that the conceptual choice for the previous car, in 2023, was not the right one. Under the supervision of technical director James Allison, renowned for his previous successes with Mercedes, the W15 promises to adopt a new conceptual direction in the quest to overtake Red Bull, which has dominated in recent seasons.

Although the launch date has not yet been formally confirmed by the Brackley team, there are indications that the reveal will take place at Silverstone, following the tradition of previous seasons. The event will be marked by a day of filming, allowing drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell to test the new car ahead of pre-season testing.
