The Guenther Steiner era at Haas has come to an end. On January 10th, the United States team officially announced that Steiner would not be continuing to lead operations for the 2024 Formula 1 season. This decision was made by the team’s owner, Gene Haas. Steiner had been at the helm of Haas since the team’s debut in the category in 2016, but his association with the team extends even further back. As the first employee hired by Gene Haas, he played a pivotal role in assembling the team that would make its mark from 2016 onward, and he did so successfully.
Formula One is undeniably a colossal circus, complete with its own bunch of stars and unique characters. Among them, he stood out as a remarkably simple yet interestingly figure—captivating not only in the ‘Drive to Survive’ series but also within the paddock and fans audiences! Now, with Guenther gone, the looming question is how we navigate the Formula One world without him?
Wishing you smooth roads ahead, Guenther! 🏎️
