The narrative explores complex themes such as mental health, depression, suicide, romance, hope, and a mature, unconventional love triangle. Alongside the metaphysical destiny that binds our protagonists, the series incorporates a significant criminal mystery, involving serial murders.

The acting is remarkable, and the chemistry between the leads is palpable. Jeon Yeo-been, shining as brightly as she did in Vincenzo and Night in Paradise, delivers a fantastic performance portraying two characters. At times, I found myself needing assistance to recognize who was being introduced. The same goes for Ahn Hyo-seop; what a talented actor! Despite the intelligent construction, the plot is occasionally intricate, but it doesn’t hinder the demonstration of emotional depth.

Overall, it’s a well-crafted and captivating series that resonated with me in various moments, feelings, and relationships. Beginning as an innocent teenage romance, reminiscent of typical South Korean dramas in Repply 1998, it seamlessly transforms into a gripping murder mystery involving adult characters in 2023. Truly a compelling drama!
