At the heart of it all is Nam Joo-hyuk, stepping into the role of a disciplined police academy student who walks the line between duty and defiance. His restrained performance, while fitting for the character’s tightly wound nature, sometimes feels a step too measured, leaving certain emotional beats just out of reach. Yoo Ji-tae, on the other hand, provides a compelling counterbalance, infusing his role with a quiet intensity that simmers beneath every interaction. Their dynamic adds weight to a story that thrives in the tension between control and chaos.

While it delivers gripping moments and moral dilemmas worth wrestling with, those seeking a narrative filled with unexpected turns may find themselves anticipating its next move. But perhaps unpredictability isn’t the point. Perhaps it’s less about where the story goes and more about what lingers after—the questions it leaves behind, the unease it stirs.
