“Signal” has been on my radar for a while, and it’s great that I can finally write about it! The storyline intricately weaves through two distinct periods, separated by decades, presenting a well-crafted and expertly told tale. The exceptional narrative transcends time. The brilliance lies not only in its plot but also in the stellar performances delivered by its talented cast. The actors bring the characters to life with such finesse that we end up not worrying about its weakest point, which is the fact that it did not need 16 episodes at all, they used a lot of flashbacks.
Moreover, it unveils poignant moments that tug at the heartstrings, culminating in a finale that leaves viewers yearning for more. Being one of the highest-rated South Korean dramas in cable television history, it strikes a chord with both audiences and critics, thanks to its compelling story and exceptional acting. The series takes familiar themes and presents them in a refreshing and engaging manner, distinguishing itself with a breathtaking and emotionally resonant narrative. The brisk pace guarantees there are never dull moments, offering twists, turns, and mysteries to unravel in every episode.
