Kim Ok-vin, brilliantly portraying Mi-ran, adds a captivating depth to the series that I find truly compelling. I’ve been a fan of Kim Ok-vin’s work since “The Villainess” and eagerly followed her through “Arthdal Chronicles.” The show unfolds the journey of an attorney who despises losing to men and an A-list actor wrestling with a deep-seated distrust of women. Plus, Teo Yoo delivers an intriguing portrayal of his character – I never miss anything from him, especially after “Past Lives!”

Incredible fight scenes and clever dialogue showcase a couple challenging traditional ideas of romance and mistrust between seemingly incompatible individuals. The series defies conventional romance, offering a fresh perspective on how love can flourish unexpectedly, even in the face of initial disdain. It transforms a typical plot into a fascinating exploration of the human heart. Oh, and for once, Kim Ji-hoon isn’t cast as the villain! I thoroughly enjoyed his character!
