An intriguing film, boasting a top-notch cast. If memory serves me right, this is the first movie I’ve seen featuring Lee and Jeon together after “Memories of the Sword.” The stellar casting has, besides my eternal “Mr. Sunshine,” Lee Byung-hun, Jeon Do-yeon, and Song Kang-ho, so it was impossible for me not to be curious about it. The narrative hints at a feel-good tragedy revolving around a realistic crisis. A poignant reflection on our shared humanity, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact. While the movie may present scientific inaccuracies and improbable plot points, it still delivers as an entertaining spectacle, inviting me to suspend disbelief and immerse myself in its thrilling sequences.
