This gripping exploration has left an indelible impact on viewers, so much so that in 2009 Hollywood found inspiration to create an American remake titled “Possession.” Lee Byung-hun consistently elevates the art of cinematography to another level with his exceptional performances. It seems challenging for me to find a film in which he does not excel.

While we might anticipate certain developments in the plot, the conclusion introduces unexpected elements. For South Korean movie enthusiasts, such as myself, the narrative may follow familiar patterns, but this production has a special sauce! Yet, a passionate love story that resonates beyond cultural boundaries. “Addicted” encapsulates the complexities of relationships and the unpredictability of fate, making it a must-watch for those who appreciate thought-provoking and emotionally charged cinema.
