It’s not my first time writing about Toni Kross here, and I sincerely hope it won’t be the last! But the pinpoint assist he made for Vinicius Junior yesterday in the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich was just out of this world. All I could do was marvel at his pass execution.

And, to be honest, at some point, I didn’t really think winning was the most important thing about the game. It was about enjoying the master class, that beyond-winning emotion, a special birthday gift!

Just as a simple note, Kroos completed 79 of 82 passes during a perfect performance at the Allianz Arena. Hala Madrid!
