It does feels like I will never stop speaking, thinking, or writing about my beloved Toni! Truth be told, his performance at the 2024 Euro is simply out of this world. At the “beginning” of the end of his career as a football player, he seems to be getting better! Germany’s re-debut in the European Championship against Scotland saw him achieve an astounding 101 out of 102 passes correct, a 99% accuracy rate. I repeat what I’ve already said: we will not see another player with his ability to control the tempo of a football game with such consistency over a decade like Kroos. His vision, precision, and calm under pressure set him apart, and his legacy will inspire future generations.

Another thing I can attest to is that the universe heard my wishes. When Toni announced his retirement from the German national team, I felt incredibly sad, especially because there was one thing I longed to see: him playing with Joshua Kimmich. He is a German professional footballer, excels as a right-back or defensive midfielder for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Germany national team. Known for his versatility, aggression, and playmaking ability, he has often been compared to former amazing Bayern Munich and Germany captain Philipp Lahm. Mission accomplished! Thank you, Julian Nagelsmann, the current manager of the Germany national team, for convincing Toni to play again for the national team.
