Echoes of an Unwritten Reality

For me, life often carries an undertone of endless anguish. I find myself caught in a web of illusions and delusions, searching for an escape. Perhaps there’s a way beyond the future, or maybe the feeling is the more accurate word. It’s strangely thrilling to realize that I crave something I can’t even define. The effort of constructing a future that may never exist, one that barely resembles my reality, demands an enormous amount of energy. My battery is drained.

Feeding these unknown needs, these should-haves and should-not-haves, only fuels the cycle of suffering. My mind races with thoughts, unspoken and unwritten, spiraling at high speed. Each time I think, Finally, it’s over, another relentless wave of intrusive ramblings takes hold, digging in with their sneaky little hooks. And always, the same nagging feeling: something is missing.

But maybe the void I occupy isn’t a desolate emptiness, it’s an uncharted space brimming with potential. Who’s to say?

How does one find rest in chaos? No matter how much I analyze, plan, or try to seize control, the truth remains unchanged: control is an illusion. The more I grasp at it, the more I amplify my own suffering. The key isn’t mastery over circumstances, it’s acknowledgment. Life is fleeting, and where I direct my energy matters.

So, I choose to shift my focus. To nurture thoughts that bear fruit rather than drain me. To channel my energy into creativity rather than exhaustion. I don’t yet know the way forward, but perhaps the path will emerge as I walk it.
