I can attest that lately, this is one of the science fiction series that most caught my attention. Everything is extraordinarily complex but exciting at the same time. It’s a show that effortlessly juggles the risks that come with time travel narratives. Set in parallel worlds where different versions of your characters change over time. This German Netflix series is engaging – and simply brilliant! It passes through a black hole, floats in space and moves at millions of kilometres per hour. It’s quite a ride.

At its core, it’s a mystery series. Much like Stranger Things – the show it is most often compared to. But the plot unfolds due to children disappearing in a small German town. It brings to light the fractured relationships, double lives and dark pasts of four families living in that region. A mystery that spans four generations. A program that operates across multiple time zones and dimensions. “The question here is not where, but when!” Invigorating!
