It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost seven years since I moved to New Brunswick and became a Canadian—time flies! But the journey continues. Nestled on Canada’s Atlantic coast, New Brunswick is a province rich in natural beauty and cultural diversity. Sometimes, I think it could easily be mistaken for British Columbia with its stunning landscapes. With rugged coastlines, rolling hills, and dense forests, it’s a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Fredericton, the capital, along with cities like Saint John and Moncton, each offer their own unique charm and history.

The province’s economy has evolved from traditional industries like forestry to include technology and tourism, showcasing its dynamic growth. A rich cultural tapestry, influenced by Acadian, Indigenous, and English heritage, comes to life in vibrant festivals and events. The natural beauty here is unmatched—don’t miss the Bay of Fundy, renowned for the world’s highest tides, or the breathtaking scenery of Fundy National Park. As Canada’s only officially bilingual province, it offers a lively, dual-language experience.
