“Titlis” is one of Switzerland’s gems; there’s no better way to describe it! You’ll feel on top of the world as you soak in the views of snow-capped mountains and untouched landscapes. The ski area has more than 80 kilometers of slopes for all skill levels, open from October to May. In summer, it turns into a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. You’ll hear the soothing sound of cowbells in the background as you explore – well, when the cows feel like it, haha! The cable car departs from Engelberg, approximately 45 minutes from Lucerne. Notably, one of the cable cars is rotating, providing a 360-degree view for your enjoyment. #FearofHighs

The station is at 3032 meters above sea level. Adjusting to around 2000 meters might make you feel a bit uncomfortable at first. It’s good to take slow breaths and not overdo yourself until you get used to it. If you’re pregnant, have health issues, or have kids under two, it’s best to talk to a doctor before.  And in the case of Titlis, there’s no room for regret. Don’t overlook the Cliff Walking, Glacier Cave, and, of course, the opportunity to stay on the mountain. Hotel Terrace stands out as an excellent option!
